I'm currently partially rebuild a 1993 SBC 350ci and i wonder what is the brand named of the timing chain you use in the small bloc chevy rebuild video the one with the rounded hole in it Exclamation

I beleive it's a good timing chain but is it good enough for a 350 to 400hp engine Question

The timing chain used in the 'Basic Engine Building' DVD was a stock single roller timing chain from Clevite engine parts. You would get something similar if you ordered a single roller from Sealed Power or a local parts store.

For a higher horsepower/upgraded engine you would be best of getting a 'Double Roller' timing chain. They are a very common upgrade for all types of engines and are widely available from any camshaft manufacturer, or parts supplier including our favorites; Clevite and Sealed Power/Speed Pro.
